LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — More than 80 artists took part in this year's Butchertown Art Fair in Louisville this weekend.
The annual art fair happens every year throughout the first weekend in June, and hosted by the Butchertown Neighborhood Association.
The great weather brought out big crowds that enjoyed vendor booths, live music, and food trucks.
"The heat didn't really keep anyone away, I think maybe us, the artists, were starting to hide a little bit from the sun, but it's been good regardless," said artist Agueda Formoso Mayan.
Proceeds from the art fair go toward preservation efforts in the historic neighborhood and several local nonprofits.
