LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana University is making sure more people are trained to stop an overdose and save a life.
IU's Prevention Insights now offers free online Narcan and overdose response training to people who live or work in Clark or Floyd counties.
Part of the Citizen Opioid Responders program, the goal of the 30-minute online course is to get more people in the community trained to know how to administer lifesaving naloxone/Narcan.
Those in Floyd and Clark counties who complete the course can bring their certificate of completion to receive Narcan at no cost from the Floyd County or Clark County Health departments.
