Narcan, an over-the-counter overdose-reversal drug, will be available free-of-charge to inmates released from jail.
There have been 29 nonfatal suspected drug overdoses from Jan. 4 to Jan. 7 in Lexington.
It's part of the Jeffersontown Police Department's REACH Unit, which works to reduce the number of fatal and nonfatal opioid overdoses in the city.
