LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Holiday World is opening for the 2024 season this weekend.
The amusement park in Santa Claus, Indiana will open for the 79th season on Saturday, May 11. Holiday World is unveiling a new ride, Good Gravy!, which takes riders on a giant gravy boat traveling up to 37 mph.
"The feedback from Good Gravy! from the day we announced and beyond has been overwhelming," owner Leah Koch-Blumhardt said in a news release. "The ride is going to be very popular this season."
The park is also introducing new coffee and Boba shop called the Perky Turkey. Sam's Smokehouse in Splashin' Safari has new brisket, pork ribs and pulled pork and chicken.
Holidays in the Sky with 500 drones runs from June 22 through Aug. 2.
Holiday World and Splashin' Safari are both cashless.
