LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay held its 14th annual swim lesson on Thursday.

It's called the "World's Largest Swim Lesson," and was created in 2010 by the World Waterpark Association as a platform to help community aquatic facilities.

Kids learned how to float on their backs and kick underwater.

Drownings are the leading cause of unintended, injury-related deaths of children between the ages of 1 and 4.
