LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — It was a very special day for hundreds of children in our area as they got in the holiday spirit.
Kosair for Kids hosted its annual holiday party at Mellwood Art Center on Sunday.
Kosair helps children with special needs with healthcare, research, and social services.
Many of the presents given out were donated by members of the community. The children also got to enjoy treats, crafts, and balloon animals.
"Kosair for kids, they put on a wonderful, amazing party for them," Camille Ferguson, Kosair parent, said. "They came out, and they got their face painted and gave them gifts and got to talk to Santa.
Kosair for Kids has been helping children in Kentucky and southern Indiana for more than 100 years.
