LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville Metro Councilwoman is asking for ideas from the community on how to make a dangerous intersection safer.
Councilwoman Donna Purvis, D-District 5, will host a community meeting next week on traffic safety at 33rd and Northwestern Parkway.
The meeting will include a presentation from the Department of Public Works on proposed safety improvements to address the rise in traffic accidents at the intersection.
Community members are encouraged to attend, review the plans and provide feedback.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 16, at 6 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3511 Rudd Ave.
