LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville's Metropolitan Sewer District announced a series of meetings to share updates on the odors coming from the city's sewer system.
The first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, at MSD's new office at 1600 W. Hill St. in the Park Hill neighborhood. The meeting will run from 6-7 p.m.
Officials hope the meetings will "foster meaningful conversations with the community about odor management." Attendees will be encouraged to ask questions, share experiences and get updates on what's causing the odors and the steps being taken to reduce the stench.
Four additional meetings are scheduled this year at the Park Hill location:
- Tuesday, June 24: 6-7 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 28: 6-7 p.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 14: 6-7 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 30: 6-7 p.m.
