Norton Children's Hospital collecting Valentine's Day cards for patients

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The community has a chance to show the patients at Norton Children's Hospital some love this Valentine's Day.

The hospital is collecting online cards until Feb. 9. Anyone can send a Valentine's Day greeting by visiting the hospital's website.

The valentines will be printed and hand-delivered to patients on Feb. 13.

In addition to the cards, you can also purchase a stuffed animal through "Send A Friend."

Ten percent of the proceeds from each purchase will be donated to the Norton Children's Hospital Foundation.

Last year, Norton Children's received more than 3,500 valentines and more than a thousand stuffed animals from 35 different states.
