LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Speed Art Museum was closed Thursday because of a water leak, but will hold an after hours event on Friday.
Officials apologized for the inconvenience on social media and said the museum would reopen Friday on its normal schedule, but updated its social media post to say:
"To ensure a safe and high-quality experience for our guests, the Speed Art Museum will be open only for our after hours event on Friday, January 17, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and for the Speed Cinema screening beginning at 6 p.m."
People who bought tickets in advance can receive a refund.
