LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Interstate 264 eastbound is closed at the Interstate 71 split after a semitruck hit a barrier on the ramp.
According to emergency officials, fire crews and additional public safety personnel are on scene responding to an incident involving a semitruck that hit a barrier on I-264 eastbound near the interchange just before 9 a.m.
Officials said hazard mitigation efforts are underway, including containment of spilled fluids from the crash.
There is no estimated time for when the roadway will reopen. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while crews work at the scene.
