LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The "most exciting two minutes in sports" takes hours to clean up.
Efforts started early Sunday morning to get rid of the trash that was left behind at Churchill Downs.
From race programs and ponchos to water bottles, the infield at Churchill Downs was riddled with litter.Â
Some people even left chairs and other personal belongings behind after all the fun of Derby Day.
Crews at Churchill Downs will be out all Sunday to clean up after the 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby.
