LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Derby Festival is looking for volunteers, and there could be some special perks for those who participate.

Hundreds of volunteers are needed each year to help with everything from handing out medals to runners at the Humana marathon, to being an ambassador at the Pegasus Parade.

Volunteers will get behind-the-scenes access to some of the festival's biggest events.

Opportunities include helping with setups, gear check, item distribution, cleanup and more.

Volunteers will have a front row seat to all the action, as well as access to discounted merchandise.
