Freddrick 'Freddie' O'Bannon

A 37-year-old father of five was shot and killed and an officer with the Louisville Metro Police Department was shot early Friday morning on I-264 in Shively.

Keyshaun Joseph Canard Stewart, 25, was brought into Jefferson District Court in a wheelchair and wearing a hat. 

The officer has a "long road to recovery" and is unable to work for an extended period of time.
