Unseld died this morning at the age of 74, his family said in a statement released by the Washington Wizards.
The Washington Wizards, the franchise that Unseld joined 52 years ago, made the announcement on Twitter Tuesday morning.
“Wes was the best. There’s no other way to say it.”
