One of the conditions of Noel's release from jail after posting bond prohibited him from owning any guns, aside from a shotgun for personal protection at his request.
Noel and his wife are also accused of taking out a nearly $84,000 loan in 2019 and making monthly payments with a fire department credit card.
Jamey Noel was arrested in November 2023 on 15 felony charges related to fraud, misconduct, theft, ghost employment, and public corruption after a nearly yearlong investigation that is ongoing.
