Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita asked a judge to issue an injunction and file a restraining order as part of the state's civil suit against Noel to recover millions of dollars in public money the former sheriff allegedly misused.
But his $1.5 million bond stands in the way. Noel hasn't posted bond and remains an inmate at Scott County Jail.
Noel remains in the Scott County Jail on a $1.5 million bond.
