Kentucky lawmakers passed two bills that will dramatically reshape leadership at Jefferson County Public Schools, putting every school board seat on the ballot and shifting more power to the superintendent.
The program, a partnership between UofL and JCPS, helps graduates who didn't major in education get their master's and teaching certification in one year.
The possibility of the referendum is aimed to help increase revenue, though no timeline or specific amount was proposed.
