Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport announced Nov. 7, 2024, a $45 million investment for the construction of a 30,000 square foot addition to the terminal's west side that will include upgrades to TSA precheck and general security screening. (WDRB image by Molly Jett)

The upgrades will feature up to 10 security screening lanes, state-of-the-art equipment and a breach control exit lane.
The enrollment event will take place from Dec. 3 through Dec. 20.
In 2019, the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport saw the first steps of a $1 billion SDF Next Program to upgrade and update many things about the traveler experience.
