Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) will receive $11,490,479 while Bowman Field was awarded $23,000, announced by U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell Monday.
The federal money comes from the recently-passed Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
One in eight jobs in the city is connected to the Louisville Regional Airport Authority.
