The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) says about 52,000 people are expected to travel through Louisville's airport between Dec. 20 and Dec. 28.Â
Next year promises to be even better, according to the airport's executive director.
The airport also set other records in 2019, including the busiest day to date: May 5, the day after the running of the 145th Kentucky Derby.Â
