Matt Jones announced plans on Aug. 29, 2019 to form an exploratory committee to help decide if he'll enter the 2020 US Senate race in Kentucky.Ā

Jones said Thursday he's thinking about taking on ex-Marine pilot Amy McGrath and farmer Mike Broyer in the Democratic primary.
The move comes after the radio host announced that he would not challenge U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell in the race for Senate.
