LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died after a two-vehicle crash in Shelbyville, Kentucky, on Wednesday evening.
In a release, the Shelby County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a crash at the intersection of Elmburg Road and Benson Pike just after 7:30 p.m.
Authorities said one driver, who was restrained, was taken to UofL Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The other driver, Christopher Burgan of Bagdad, Kentucky, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The Sheriff's office said "drugs and or alcohol are suspected to be a contributing factor."
The Shelby County Sheriff's Office Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
