LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A person is dead after a car hit a tree in the Hazelwood neighborhood, bursting into flames.
LMPD said the crash happened Wednesday night around 10:30 p.m. on Churchman Avenue at Cayuga Street.
The car became engulfed in flames after running into the tree, and the sole occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
