LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is dead and several others are hurt after a deadly crash in Jefferson County, Indiana.

The Jefferson County Indiana Sheriff's Department said it happened Monday afternoon around 2:11 p.m. in the 8000 block of North State Road 7.

Three cars were involved in the crash.

Edwin Harmond, 49, of Madison, Indiana, was pronounced dead on the scene after being extricated by fire and EMS personnel. Harmon was driving he second vehicle.

Gavin Perry, 18, of North Vernon, Indiana, and a juvenile passenger from Harmond's vehicle were both airlifted to University Hospital for treatment. Perry was driving the first vehicle.

Bonnie Harmon, 49, of Madison, Indiana, was driving the third vehicle. She was treated on scene and released by medical officials.

Deputies and state police are continuing to investigate the crash.
