LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville Powerball player won $150,000 with a ticket purchased at a Kroger in St. Matthews.
Kentucky Lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold at the Kroger located at 291 N. Hubbards Lane.
The winning Powerball numbers were 6-37-54-55-64, with a Powerball of 10.
The winning ticket matched four of the white balls and the Powerball. While that is typically a $50,000 prize, lottery officials said the player added the Power Play feature for $1, tripling the prize to $150,000.
Winners are asked to sign the back of their physical tickets and claim their prize at the Kentucky Lottery headquarters on Main Street in downtown Louisville. Winners have 180 days to claim their prize.
The Powerball jackpot currently sits at an estimated $1 billion. The next drawing, which will be the 44th consecutive one for this jackpot, is being held Wednesday at 11 p.m. You can watch the drawing and check your numbers by clicking here.
The Kentucky Lottery has paid out nearly $1.8 billion in prizes this year. Its proceeds fund scholarships and grants for more than 1.1 million college students across the state.
