LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people escaped a house fire early Sunday morning in southern Indiana.

Clarksville Police said the fire was first reported about 4:45 a.m. on Evergreen Drive near Eastern Boulevard. 

Two people got out of the house safely. No injuries were reported. There was no initial word on a cause. 

Clarksville Police closed Evergreen Drive between Eastern Boulevard and Keswick Drive for the investigation.
