LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two people were injured in a 2-vehicle crash in east Louisville Friday afternoon.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded on a crash in the 6200 block of Routt Road around 4:50 p.m.
Police said a woman driving south on Routt Road crossed over the double yellow line and crashed into another vehicle, driven by a man, head-on.
The woman was extricated from her vehicle and taken to UofL Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The man was also taken to UofL Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating.
