LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Shively resident is now $225,000 richer after purchasing a winning Cash Ball ticket this week.
Kentucky Lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold Thursday at Plaza Liquors in Shively, on Rockford Plaza.
The winning Cash Ball numbers were 6-11-14-15, with a Cash Ball of 10. The winning ticket matched all four white ball numbers and the Cash Ball.
Winners are asked to sign the back of their tickets and claim their prize at the Kentucky Lottery headquarters on Main Street in downtown Louisville. Winners have 180 days to claim their prize.
Due to the Interstate 65 closure, the Kentucky Lottery Claims Department is operating on abbreviated hours Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., until July 31.
The Kentucky Lottery has paid out nearly $1.8 billion in prizes this year. Its proceeds fund scholarships and grants for over $1.1. million college students across the state.
