LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Derby Museum, Churchill Downs and Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory are in the running to be named the Best Attractions for Sports Fans by Readers' Choice Awards from USA Today.
Churchill Downs earned its spot as a nominee by hosting the Kentucky Derby for 150 years. The derby museum tells the story of the famed race and Churchill Downs with a collection of artifacts and interactive exhibits. And the slugger museum, USA Today says, is a "legendary site beloved by baseball fans."
The museum is currently in second place, the Slugger museum is in seventh, and the track is in ninth place.
