LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 49-year-old man was identified as the victim of a fatal crash on the 2nd Street Bridge last week.
Louisville Metro Police responded to a crash just after 6:15 p.m. July 10. Timothy McNaughton was riding a moped northbound on the bridge when it hit a curb, lost control and hit a truss of the bridge.
McNaughton, who was identified by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, died at the scene.
The bridge was closed for a few hours while LMPD's Traffic Unit investigated the crash.Â
