LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB/WAVE) — Dozens of distilleries showed off their products this weekend at the American Whiskey Festival.
The fourth annual event at Norton Commons featured live music, whiskey and wine tastings, food vendors and representatives from more than 40 distilleries.
Despite the heat, crowds came out to celebrate an industry that has helped put Kentucky on the map.
"The music has gotten progressively better," said Tommy Craggs with the American Whiskey Festival. "The crowds have gotten progressively better. It's a cool atmosphere. Well, I mean, if you look at the crowd, it's hot out here. And they're still here."
