LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- At least four people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on West Broadway early Saturday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD responded to a crash in the 2100 block of West Broadway, near Dr. W. J. Hodge Street around 3:20 a.m. LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said police found three vehicles involved in a crash, and one of those vehicles hit a building.
Louisville Fire extricated at least three people from the vehicles, according to Bradley. Police said some utility poles were also hit in the crash, which caused a power outage around the area and some traffic signals were inoperable.
Bradley said two people were critically injured and two others had non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. They were taken to University of Louisville Hospital.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
Police said a portion of West Broadway was shut down as investigators and LG&E worked.
