LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Jefferson County coroner's office has released the identity of a man after his body was pulled from the Ohio River last Thursday.
The man has been identified as 36-year-old Timothy Edward Spaulding, according to a news release. His body was found after passersby spotted the body in the area of 9th Street and Interstate 64 around 7 p.m. on Sept. 5 and called police. The coroner's report lists the location as 10th Street and Rowan Street.
The police department's River Unit and Louisville Fire & Rescue responded and recovered the body around 8 p.m.
LMPD's Homicide Unit has been conducting a death investigation.
