Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Bernheim Forest and Arboretum was selected by a national lifestyle magazine as one of the top places to go this year.

Southern Living included the forest and nature preserve in Clermont, Kentucky, on its "25 Places to Go in 2025" list. Southern Living included visitors can experience and art exhibit in a forest.

"Some things you might see here: a larger-than-life wooden sculpture of a giant resting against a tree, a boardwalk suspended 75 feet above the ground, and a prairie garden surrounded by vibrant redbud trees," Southern Living wrote.

The list will return in the January/February issue of Southern Living. It will be on sale Jan. 17.

Bernheim Forest and Arboretum was founded in 1929 by Isaac W. Bernheim. It is more than 16,000 acres.
