LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A bourbon raffle raised a record amount to support local Catholic education.
The Catholic Education Foundation of the Archdiocese of Louisville hosted its third annual online bourbon raffle. Overall, 25 winners claimed their share of 108 bottle rare bourbon raffle prizes. The event ended up earning an all-time high of $450,000.
The money will be used at tuition assistance for Catholic school students when they return to school in the fall.
