LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Amazon wants to hire 1,000 workers in the Louisville-area to help get packages shipped in time for the holidays.
It's part of the company's nationwide seasonal hiring push.
Amazon is looking for 250,000 workers across the country and 1,000 of those are in the greater Louisville area.
They include full-time and part-time positions. All seasonal employees earn at least $18 per hour. Amazon said many of the positions have the potential to transition into regular full-time jobs after the holidays.
