LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A new laundry facility will bring hundreds of jobs to Louisville.
Baptist Health entered into a long-term partnership with Novo Health Services, an Atlanta-based health care linen management company, to develop an advanced commercial laundry facility in Louisville, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.
The more than 80,000-square-foot facility will be located off of Cane Run Road, creating more than 150 jobs. The facility will be the center for managing the health system's linens, including sheets, blankets, towels, pillowcases, gowns and scrubs.
“While linen management services are largely unseen by patients, it is a constant and essential part of delivering the cleanliness, comfort and consistency our patients know and expect," Gerard Colman, Baptist Health CEO, told Business First.
The laundry facility is expected to open by the end of the year.
