Bardstown Bourbon Company opens new tasting experience in downtown Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Bardstown Bourbon Company opened its new tasting experience on Whiskey Row in downtown Louisville.

The Louisville Tasting Room opened on Wednesday morning at 730 W. Main Street. The experience will include augmented reality, a full-service bar and lounge, and a classroom for educational experiences.

"We are a modern take on a traditional industry, we bring innovation, collaboration and transparency to this traditional spirit," said Dan Callaway, Vice President of New Product Development at Bardstown Bourbon Company. "It's important for us to come to Louisville, specifically Whiskey Row, which dates back to the 1840s, and bring our modern take on bourbon to Louisville."

It's also expected to host limited and rare bottle releases. The new tasting room will also be used as an event space.

"We fell in love with this space because of its width, size and opportunities we had to connect with our customers," Callaway said. "We have a full service bar with world-class cocktails."

There is also a retail shop that sells Bardstown Bourbon Company products, merchandise and distillery-only releases.
