LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Imagine winning a sweepstakes that promises you hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise, only to learn a few days later it was all a mistake.
One woman was thrilled after receiving an email from Charmin saying she won their monthly sweepstakes - free toilet paper for a year!
The email claimed she won a year's worth of Charmin - an 18-pack every month from the next 12 months. Her excitement was short lived after a couple days when she received another email claiming they made a "poopsie."
Charmin claimed they sent the email in error and instead, she was offered a $2 off coupon.
She was very upset and tried to contact Charmin to see if they would still honor it. They upped her coupon to $50 off, but would not budge further.
If anything like this ever happens to you, don't be so quick to accept the prize, as you might be disappointed in the end.
