LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A donut store in St. Matthews closed on Sunday.
Duck Donuts is an international donut chain that was open for several years at the Shelbyville Road Plaza. The chain is known for serving warm, made to order donuts.
On Sunday, the restaurant closed for the final time in Louisville. Duck Donuts opened in Feb. 2021 on Shelbyville Road.
"We appreciate our loyal customers and will miss you dearly," Duck Donuts posted on a sign. "We were happy to be part of the community as long as we were."
