LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The online organization RecruitMilitary.com will hold a hiring event at Fort Knox in September.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 18, at Saber & Quill on the post, according to a news release. It starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.
This is the first time the organization has sponsored a hiring event, which will bring together military-ready employers who understand the value of service members, veterans and military spouses.
There are currently more than 200,000 active job opportunities on RecruitMilitary.com, and attendees will have direct access to employers ready to hire in a variety of industries.

In-Person Pre-Event Training
On Tuesday, Sept. 16, job seekers can attend a preparation event to review resumes and train for salary negotiations from 9 a.m. to noon. That will be followed by optional one-on-one coaching from noon to 1 p.m. Participants will receive insider tips on how to stand out, create a winning resume and confidently navigate salary conversations.
