LIBA's Buy Local Fair moving to Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville this June

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A local business fair will be held this summer at Lynn Family Stadium.

The Louisville Independent Business Alliance will holds its Buy Local Fair at the soccer stadium in the Butchertown neighborhood from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 8.

"We are excited to partner with Lynn Family Stadium to activate the beautiful Fan Zone with dozens of local, unique businesses," Jennifer Rubenstein, Executive Director of LIBA, said in a news release Monday. "This event is a wonderful opportunity to support LIBA’s Buy Local efforts and buy from the businesses that make our city unique, which also keeps more dollars recirculating in our community."

According to a news release, the event will feature booths from local retailers, organizations and artists. There will be music, food, a cooking competition and a kid's fun zone.

Admission to the fair is free, but stadium parking costs $15. A portion of that will support LIBA and the Buy Local.
