LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Valentine's Day tradition returned Saturday that paired loving couples with their love of fast food.

Some White Castle restaurants across Louisville took part in the 35th year of "Love Castle."

Customers were treated to hostess seating, tableside service and festive decor. Each year, thousands of people around the country take part in the tradition.

"I know the staff is excited about it, we have some newer staff that has never seen it before," White Castle District Sup. Joey Duvall said. "For me, it's my favorite day of the year to work just because there are so many people out and so many memorable moments we create. It's just a fun day and great atmosphere."

In addition to the regular menu items, guests could also order cheesecake on a stick and crab cakes.
