LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some people in Louisville are eligible for free tax preparation services.
The Louisville Asset Building Coalition's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program provides free tax services around the area. The service is available to people and families who earned less than $66,000 in 2023.
Tax preparations are open from now until April 15.

- Mobile Sites available for appointments and walk in on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
People should bring their original social security cards, government issued photo identification, Form W-2, W-2G or 1099-R from all employers, interest and dividend statements from banks, daycare expenses with the providers' EIN and amount paid, bank routing numbers, a copy of last year's tax return if available, and other relevant information about income and expenses.
