LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville soul food restaurant reopened this month at a new location on Dixie Highway.

Daddy Vic's Soul Food on Cane Run Road closed in July 2025 after a severe storm caused major damage.

According to our partners at Louisville Business First, the restaurant reopened on Feb. 7 in the location of a former O'Charley's Restaurant on Dixie Highway in Shively.

The menu includes oxtails, pot roast, baked chicken, turkey wings and fried fish along with sides like greens, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese and cabbage.
