LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One Louisville woman provided WDRB Mornings with a birds eye view of her success story.
Tiffany Marshall also known as "Tiff Bird" was a local bartender who grew in popularity for the way she mixed her drinks.
She created a signature drink called the "Pretty Birdie" that she served at nightclubs, weddings and events that became wildly popular.
She said during the pandemic she toyed with the idea of bottling her signature drink.
Earlier this year she launched her ready drink mix “Pretty Birdie”, and it flew off the shelf.
Bird’s drink is distributed through Legacy Wine and Spirits, which is the first Black-owned liquor distributor.
"I put it on the shelves January 5th, and it took off the first day it sold at the Liquor store I sold 126 bottles within a couple of hours," Marshall said.
Her drink mix is available in nearly 20 area liquor stores.
Bird is the first Black woman in Kentucky to create her own spirit cocktail mix.
