LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Zoo is searching for people with a passion for animals.
The zoo on Trevilian Way held a job fair on Saturday for seasonal workers. Louisville Zoo doubles its staff during its busy season from March to October.
Available positions include admissions, animal department education, front desk. guest services and many more. Pay starts at $16.65 an hour and applicants must be at least 16 years old.
"It's a great way to meet folks face to face," said Louisville Zoo spokesperson Kyle Shepherd. "We are looking for folks who are outgoing and energetic and who are just willing to provide a great customer service experience for our guests."
