LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Lynn Family Stadium hosted its first-ever Sunday Market in Louisville on Sunday.
The soccer stadium in the Butchertown neighborhood hosted its new Stadium Sunday Market. It is focused on addressing community food insecurities and elevating local businesses.
It will be hosted every Sunday through Aug. 18. Vendors offered fresh produce, baked goods, art, food trucks and live entertainment.
"We are going to run this through the end of August and my hope is that it is so successful that they beg us do a couple months," Richard Henry, Lynn Family Stadium Booking Manager, said. "We'd be happy to be out here freezing in October."
The weekly market wants to feature small businesses that don't have a brick and mortar store.
Organizers said there is room for 75 vendors and six food trucks each week. Anyone interested in participating are asked to email Hendry at rhendry@lynnfamilystadium.com.
