LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A brand new arts and events venue is now open in downtown Louisville.
The ribbon was cut Friday on Lou Rae Riverside Arts & Events, located on historic West Main Street next to the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts.
The venue will serve as a media hub for musicians, artists, classes, exhibits and much more.
"This is more than just your typical art gallery. What we do is we include all different types of arts, such as visual arts, we have a film night, we have a podcast room, we have more than just paintings, is what we call it, and we call it kind of the gym for the arts," Co-owner and curator Michael Larimore said.
